I already have an Anaconda account with a different email address. How do I get academic access?

We recommend that you create a new account using your academic email address, then sign up for free. We don’t currently offer the functionality to add a new email address to your existing account.

What if I work or study at an accredited institution but I want to use my personal email address?

To get access to Starter Plan features for free as an academic user, you must sign in with a verified academic email address (e.g., ending in .edu).

I have an academic email address but I’m still getting an error page. What should I do next?

How can I connect with my Google, Microsoft, or GitHub login?

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer free academic user access for users signed in with Google, Microsoft, or GitHub accounts.

What happens if I lose access to my academic email account?

If you know that your academic email account is due to expire, we recommend that you change your email. If you need assistance, contact us.

I am an academic user with an academic email address and an active Starter subscription. How can I get free access?

I am an academic user with an active Pro/Business/Enterprise subscription. How does this affect me?

If you want to continue to receive the features available at your subscription level, this update does not change the features available to you or your pricing. Free access is offered to academic users only at the Starter subscription level. If you wish to downgrade your subscription, please contact us.

I’m a student or educator who requires specific security measures to be in place to use Anaconda. How do I ensure those measures are met?
